Welding (CA & JSC)
Upon successful completion of the Welding Certificate, the student will be able to
demonstrate skills in SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), OFW and OFC (oxy-fuel welding
and cutting), Plasma cutting, GMAW (gas metal arc welding), and GTAW (gas tungsten
arc welding) on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in all positions and all
joint configurations.

In the Welding (CA) program, students will receive training for entry-level job employment in welding shops, sheet metal shops, metal fabrication, and maintenance.
