Welding (CA & JSC)
Requirements for AA-T or AS-T degree:
Completion of 60 semester units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including both of the following:
- 40 units from either the Intersegmental General
- Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or the California State University General Education- Breadth Requirements.
- A minimum of 18 semester units in the major as determined by the required courses described below.
- Obtainment of a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
Students must earn a “C” or better in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis. A “P” (Pass) grade is also an acceptable grade for courses in the major if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis, where a Pass is defined as a “C” or better.
Welding (CA & JSC)
In the Welding (CA) program, students will receive training for entry-level job employment in welding shops, sheet metal shops, metal fabrication, and maintenance.
