Students who pursue a Business Administration degree enjoy a wealth of career options ranging from business, industry, teaching, research, and agriculture. Requirements for AA-T or AS-T degree:

Completion of 60 semester units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including both of the following:

  • 40 units from either the Intersegmental General
  • Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or the California State University General Education- Breadth Requirements.
  • A minimum of 18 semester units in the major as determined by the required courses described below.
  • Obtainment of a minimum grade point average of 2.0.

Students must earn a “C” or better in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis. A “P” (Pass) grade is also an acceptable grade for courses in the major if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis, where a Pass is defined as a “C” or better.

The goal of the Business Information Systems Associate of Science is to provide an opportunity for students to complete an intensive, hands-on program preparing them for employment in the business information systems field.
