Past Events

Each year, the DREAMer’s Success Center and CHAP (Cultural & Historical Awareness Program) team up to celebrate the legacy of Cesar Chavez. This celebration included powerful speakers, food, and an art exhibit. Cesar Chavez’s advocacy for hard-working people and policies that offer equity within our community have paved the way for current advances in policies that help Undocumented Students access postsecondary education.

The videos below are from these events in recent years, which have featured speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. For example, Reyna Rodriguez--see a video of her DACA speech below--was one of the speakers that shared her experiences as an Undocumented student and how she utilized programs like DACA to achieve her career goals.
