Located in the Porterville College Innovation Centers

Porterville College’s Student Success Programs, located within the Innovation Centers, provide students with tailored academic and career support to help them reach their educational goals. These programs offer structured mentoring, leadership opportunities, academic resources, and access to hands-on learning experiences.

Current programs include:

  • MESA Scholars: A support program for students pursuing studies in calculus-based science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), focusing on academic excellence, transfer readiness, and applied learning experiences.
  • PASO Explorers: Designed to support adult learners through personalized academic guidance, skill-building workshops, and goal-setting strategies to help them succeed in college.
  • Academic Support Services Student Worker Excellency Program: Offers students meaningful campus employment opportunities where they receive training, professional development, and the chance to support peers in academic settings.

Each program equips students with the tools needed to strengthen their academic performance, explore career pathways, and prepare for future educational and professional opportunities.
