PC PASO Program

The PASO (Porterville Access, Success, and Opportunities) Program is dedicated to empowering adult learners (25+) and students facing barriers to academic success. PASO provides targeted academic support, mentorship, and access to resources that help students navigate their educational and career pathways. Through personalized services and access to technology, PASO fosters an inclusive environment that enables students to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals at Porterville College and beyond.
PASO Program Vision:
The PASO Program envisions a future where all adult learners and students facing challenges—such as first-generation status, work and family obligations, or rural access barriers—have the tools and resources necessary to succeed in higher education. PASO is committed to supporting student achievement by promoting academic excellence, professional development, and lifelong learning. Through strategic partnerships, innovative programming, and student-centered services, PASO aims to reduce obstacles to success, enhance career readiness, and create clear pathways for educational and workforce advancement.
