Bringing the festivities inside for a "Warm Welcome"

Students learn about various programs at Welcome Week

So far, it has been a great first week here on campus. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bit more chilly and foggy than we expected. So chilly and foggy, in fact, that student services was forced to move our Welcome Week activities inside to the cafeteria for Wednesday and Thursday.

Despite trying to warm students up with some hot cocoa in the quad on Tuesday, the chill proved too much to overcome and we decided to relocate to a warmer spot. Starting on Wednesday, the welcome booths, information and PC Swag was moved to inside the Cafeteria where students could touch base without having to brave the cold.

Thanks to the quick thinking and organization of the PC Student Services team, it all worked out for the best, providing a fun (and warm) atmosphere for students to ask questions and get the support they needed to kick of the first week of classes the right way.
